Permanent Partial Disability and Independent Medical Examinations
When Dr. Dryer performs a Permanent Partial Disability examination or Independent Medical Examination, you can trust that you will be receiving a thorough examination and all relevant past and present medical history will be considered in the final whole person rating. You'll be benefiting from Dr. Dryer's 30 years of clinical experience in evaluating industrial injuries and an impairment rating based on the application of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 5th Edition.
Agreed Medical Examinations
When both parties agree to have Dr. Dryer perform an Independent Rating Evaluation (IRE), they each know they will be getting an unbiased, accurate, high quality, and objectively based final whole person impairment rating exam and report. A rating based on objective patient data and use of the 5th Edition of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment.
Dr. Dryer presents his findings and conclusions in a detailed, well organized, easy to interpret report, complete with references to know exactly how the final impairment rating was determined.
Second Opinion Examinations
If a victim of a personal or work related injury receives an impairment rating that just "doesn't seem correct," Dr. Dryer can perform a "Second Opinion" examination. In addition to a complete medical records review, Dr. Dryer will perform a thorough injury focused physical examination and offer his unbiased, objectively based opinion in a clear, professional, and more importantly, completely defensible impairment rating report. This gives you the confidence of knowing you have the most accurate rating. We refer to this as providing the "Final Word" in injury impairment ratings.
Personal Injury Validation / Verification Examinations
Using the latest technology and examination techniques, Dr. Dryer can perform a scientifically backed Dynamic Surface Electromyography study to objectively determine the presence, or not, of a documentable cervical or lumbar spine injury. Any personal injury case that involves the cervical or lumbar spine that does not utilize this technology must rely on weak subjective complaints of pain with few or near normal objective findings. We think every victim of a personal injury is entitled to be fairly, compensated. No more, but certainly no less. Now everyone can truly feel confident knowing they were served.
